our 1st Annual Girlboss Getaway

happened April 11-14, 2019.

Thank you to our amazing sponsors!

And a great big thank you to our friends:

what was it?

A 3-night, 4-day transformative experience exclusive to the members of the Oly Girlboss Collective - all small business owners hustlin' in Olympia, Washington. The gals convened at Cedarbrook Lodge in Seattle to bond with their fellow girlbosses, engage in interactive activities and breakout sessions to continue their education and give them a spark of inspiration to keep them going.

previous TERMS & CONDITIONS.

The retreat cost covered each gal’s swag bag, Saturday dinner + keynote presentation, breakout sessions and a variety of fun, relaxing activities! Each gal was responsible for reserving their room and arranging sleeping options (roommates, dates of arrival, carpools, etc.). Rooms included complimentary breakfast buffet and WiFi. Gals were also responsible for any spa treatments, tours, etc. that they elected to book on their own, in addition to their lunches and Thurs & Fri dinners.

for girlbosses: what if i can't afford it?

Girlbosses who couldn’t afford the retreat cost on their own were able to request
sponsorship through our “Peer2Peer” sponsorships voluntarily sent in by fellow girlbosses.

for sponsors: why should i support it?

The Oly Girlboss Collective is a 140+ member business support and networking group based in Olympia, Washington. We meet monthly for regular programming with mini lessons (a different gal shares a lesson from her business each night) and community potlucks. We also consistently communicate via our private Facebook group where girls swap resources and share their latest business wins or questions. Founders Olivia Salazar de Breaux and Kathryn Coffman created the group with the aim of creating a safe, uplifting and exciting space where girlbosses can share their business lows and highs, and form collaborations that send their businesses to new heights.

We need all the help we can get around here! Because the Oly Girlboss Collective is not currently a non-profit, we had very few options for funding this trip on our own. Some of our girlbosses are just getting started and the lessons they learned during the getaway were PRICELESS, catapulting them in the direction of success. Because of this, several of our girls needed a helping hand financially. In addition, the leadership team needed help funding activities, keynote accommodations and venue booking. We were honored to have a variety of amazing local sponsors who supported the entrepreneurial women who are bettering their community. In return, these businesses got in front of 140+ entrepreneurs who need their services! Stay tuned for 2020 opportunities.
